Guitardedness as a lifestyle is a personal choice, but as with meat-o-tarians, one has to commit to it.
It’s a brand new year and the guitar department is blessed with talent and myriad styles and influences. There are eight first year guitar majors and one worship major who is ‘minoring’ in guitar performance this year, and I am looking forward to the enjoyable experience of watching each one grow in the Lord and grow as an artist. |

Keyboard lessons are off to a great start and all the keyboard students are currently going through the ensemble audition process. Basically, all of the Modern Music Ministry students are placed into bands at the beginning of each year. Each student fills out a survey on the style of music they enjoy listening to and playing. That's where the faculty starts for placement and for 4 weeks band members are rotated in and out until we have a perfect fit. So we are in our second week of rotations and the keyboard players are rocking face! There has already been some awesome blues organ solos and really cool effects. This is going to be a great year! |

Once again, the drummers of VISIBLE SCHOOL will play for 24 straight hours to raise money for their upcoming trip to the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. On the morning of October 24, the students wil begin drumming and will continue on for 24 hours without stopping! Check back for more info and to see how YOU can be involved in helping to get the guys to PASIC!
