Songwriting The Songwriting Division works to elevate the student's musical technique and skill level on their primary instrument, develop the student's understanding and application of music theory, develop compositional technique of both lyric and music across various genres and styles, and equip students in solo artist development and band leadership. Students learn through rehearsal, recording, arranging, and performing, within the context of the "mini-industry" in the college, with equipping for CCM, church worship, and mainstream vocation. Specific attention will be paid to personal demo recording, computer transcription, keyboard skills, creative expression, music business and vocational songwriting.
