A Simple Copy-right Print E-mail

You have a right to copy all the music you write into any form you want and make as much money as you want from it! I tried to make the opening line a shocker, but if you reread it you will see it is obvious. Any music you write, like we do every day in the Songwriting Division at VISIBLE SCHOOL, you are the owner, the owner of the copy-right. You can affix the symbol to it right away and tell everyone you wrote it. You can sell it, print it, record it, or put it in that little folder that you forget about until holiday break and you write again.

The point is, copy-right is just that, a right. Registering a song you have written is fairly easy to do and there are plenty of places on the internet to help you (see the Library of Congress website), but you have the right to what you write, right away, when it hits paper. Hey, just make sure you didn't copy that awesome hook!
